You Make Me Smile Award
Today I have been blessed by my dear praying caring faithful friend Denise. She is such a faithful lady. Her blog, emails and ecards always make me smile.
Thanks Denise, love you.
This is what the person that created this award says about it, the thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with.I wanted to create something special for the top ten people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives that they lead with grace and dignity. I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement.Although there are MANY people I want to give this award to at this very moment, I am going to choose ten bloggers:Please grab your badge and wear it proudly, and pass it on because you inspire and encourage me, thank you.
So, now it is my turn to pass it on.

1 John 2 (Sept 9 – 15)
To Link to the Study
This week we are looking at 1 John 2
My thoughts
1
What an blessing and a priviallage it is to have an “advocate with the Father” Especially when that advocate is Jesus the almighty himself. I have had to stand up for Billy over the years. Fighting to get what he needs to help him learn. But I am a mere human stop and think for a moment about the fact that we have Jesus standing up for us. WOW!!
2
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Him yet again. He not is standing up for us. He not only took my own sins upon his shoulders He also took the whole worlds.
3, 4 and 6
Loving Him means obeying Him. Trying to live like He did.
5
However we are mere humans who do muck up and sin. Over time and trying to obey Him He works in us perfecting us.
9
We are called to love. We are called to love everyone even our enemies.
10 and 11
By doing so we can walk in Jesus sweet light. If we hate others it is a sin.
I was once involved with an ex-manslaughter (he had served his time) this was a very very rough time in my life. He was very abusive. I to this day pray for him. He claimed he was a Christian yet he still sinned badly. He truly needs the Lord. I pray that the Lord is able to get deep inside him and work. I believe it is only through the pure love of God that he can be cleaned whiter than the snow and become a man of God.
12
Praise the Lord!!! Thank you sweet Jesus
15
We are not of this Earth. Loving things that exist here is only tempareary. We have to keep our eyes on Jesus, on the big picture, on where we are going. this reminds me of the wonderful book I read not so long ago – Do You Know Where You Are Going – Sujo John
It also reminds me that we cant serve both things of this world, like $$ and Him.
16 and 17
I have struggling with this recently. I pray that You Lord help me to do what is right.
21 – 27
The truth is Jesus is real. He is Lord of all. There are some to claim they are Christ but they are not. There is only one Lord Jesus Christ and He is the messiah. We must belief and put our faith in Him. If we dont accept, believe and love Jesus then we also dont accept that His father is God.
If we do indeed put our faith in Him then we receive the gift of eternal life.
28
If we do indeed believe in Him and live for Him we can be sure that when He returns we will ready. We wont be like Adam and Eve and hide in shame. We shall be ready to follow Him where ever He leads us.
Remebering and Reaching Out
This morning already I have been to tears. Its 7am. I started reading my usual bloggie friends posts and was so deeply moved.
As Alan Jackson says “I am not political” neither am I but when this happened it touched me too. Even though I live in New Zealand I cried too. I was one of those people who sat down with the TV turned on and cried. Even today if I shut my eyes and think about 9/11 I see the awful scenes that occurred that day.
In love I want to extend my hand to all those that were effected by this awful event. You maybe some one who knew one of the victims. Or you maybe an American who feared what was going to happen next. Or you maybe someone else.
God Bless you all.
May we never forget.
May we join together.
May we stand up and say no more.
6 years ago today – September 11 2001
Its already September 11 here in New Zealand and I have been thinking about this tragic day since last night so I shall post this today and leave it up a couple of days.
Today I am remembering AnnMarie (Davi) Riccoboni. Although I never meet her I have joined other bloggers
remembering those that died that day.
Ann was only 58 years old. I think had I meet her I would have liked her she is described by her friends as warm, loving, helpful and sweet. A lady whom was a wonderful person. Always with a smile on her face.
Ann worked for Ohrenstein & Brown at the World Trade Center, she was a billing supervisor.
She was survived by a daughter Maria Elena and hubby John. Whom she loved proudly and liked to talk about.
My thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.

Why is the Sky Blue – Book Review
I have just finished my 6th book in this challenge
I dont usually read books this quickly but I have been sick. Also I found this book very readable.
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
I have.
This book is about 3 ladies (2 of which ask this question) when tragedy impacts on their lives and those dear to them.
These ladies are mother and daughters. One conceived though rape. The other daughter looks in the second half of the book at just what her mother had to go through.
